The day before, the scientific world was shaken by the news of a photograph received from the LASCO telescopes.
The image clearly showed the outline of a fiery bird flying over the Sun. According to scientists' calculations, the mysterious object was 10 times larger than the planet Earth.
Astronomer Alexander Kiselev, in an interview with AiF, was one of the first to risk explaining the origin of the mysterious phenomenon.

According to him, the object, which in its outline is so similar to a bird soaring in space, is a comet.
Having studied the photograph, the popularizer of science, with a certain degree of probability, called the “bird” a comet that passes very close to the surface of the Sun.
This is a so-called “sun-scratching comet,” the expert believes.
It has uneven outlines and an elongated shape.
The small fiery particles clearly visible flying behind it indicate that the comet is either actively evaporating or disintegrating due to the extremely high temperature of the daylight star.
Let us recall that the first to report about the unknown object were the employees of the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Having received images from one of the LASCO telescopes, they noticed an unidentified object on one of them.
Its outline resembled a firebird.
According to scientists’ calculations, the size of one “wing” reached approximately 150 thousand kilometers.
The space object itself was more than 10 times larger than the planet Earth.
