When you look up at the sky on a clear night shortly after one of SpaceX's many Falcon 9 rocket launches, you might notice a bright line of lights moving rapidly across the sky.
The phenomenon, called a Starlink train, occurs when light reflects off a newly launched group of SpaceX satellites before they eventually disperse and become part of the larger Starlink network. It also serves as a reminder that massive groups of private satellites, known as “megaconstellations,” are quickly becoming a reality.
But behind these lights lies an invisible—and far more problematic—form of radiation: radio waves.
