What's going on in the Sun

As the laboratory reported, the Sun continues to throw out record-breaking prominences.

Another emission occurred today between 09:00 and 14:00 Moscow time.

The size of the plasma structure ejected towards the north pole of the solar system exceeded one million kilometers.

About a day before this, a prominence of comparable size was recorded at the opposite south pole of the Sun.

In just one week, the Sun has ejected at least six formations of comparable size, but none of them have yet touched the Earth even by the edge.

All that remains is to passively observe what is happening, with the fingers on both hands crossed, the laboratory added.
