A UFO spotted over Earth during NASA’s Gemini 11 mission is definitive proof aliens are watching our planet, a prominent conspiracy theorist has claimed.
UFO hunter Scott C Waring claims to have found evidence of an alien spacecraft photographed by NASA astronauts in 1966. The photo, taken during the Gemini 11 mission, shows a fragment of NASA’s Agena target vehicle – a spacecraft used to test and develop spacecraft docking methods. Behind the Agena you can see our beautiful planet, with its blue oceans and white clouds tops.

However, the eagle-eyed UFO hunter noticed a small anomaly in the lower half of the image, which he believes could be an alien spacecraft.
Mr Waring wrote on his blog ET Data Base: “I found this UFO in an old NASA photo.
“The photo is taken in Earths orbit and looking downward towards Earth.
“Not far below, there is a bronze colour disk visible.

Life on Mars? NASA splits the internet with photos of ‘alien bones’
“The disk has a dome or hump at its centre and is thin on its edges.
“This is 100 percent proof that aliens are watching and recording the human race in space.
“The transition of humans moving from earth to living in space is a huge step for any species…and this is something very rare.”
Mr Waring also shared his discovery on his YouTube channel, where a few enthusiastic followers congratulated him, seemingly believing the photo could be the real deal.
One UFO enthusiast said: “This one is really amazing.”
Another person said: “Wow that’s awesome. So much shows up on NASA pictures and feeds. Keep up the detective work.”
A third person said: “Looks biological too. Colour is green.”
There is, however, a more likely explanation for the anomaly.

NASA’s astronauts took photos of their space escapades on various analogue cameras and the negatives were then processed back on Earth.
All of the unedited negatives from NASA’s Gemini and Apollo missions are hosted online and can be browsed through by people interested in the history of the space race.
The supposed UFO is most likely a drop of chemical residue left over from the negative processing.
Dust, scratches and residue on negatives can all create unwanted effects on the scanned negatives.
Ilford, a company producing analogue film stock, said: “Irregular shaped dull marks or roundish spots on the surface of your film are likely to be drying marks.
“Caused by droplets of water forming in the film surface during the drying stage these marks are typically seen on the film backing (shiny side).
“Films washed in hard water areas are more likely to see this problem.”
The Gemini 11 photos were snapped in a 70mm Maurer Space Camera and Kodak Ektachrome SO-368 medium speed ASA 64 film.
