Travel blogger gets surprise of her life after opening box in forest

Geocaching expert Bex and her partner were left in shock after solving clues to unlock the large sealed box in a woodland area in Liechtenstein.

A travel blogger was left stunned after making an “absolutely unbelievable” discovery during a woodland walk in Liechtenstein.

Bex (@northernblondeabroad), who shares her globetrotting adventures on TikTok, stumbled upon the find while indulging in geocaching – a popular hobby that involves using GPS devices to hide and seek containers at specific coordinates worldwide.

“I beyond myself,” Bex exclaimed in her video. “We have just found the best geocache we have ever seen. It’s so good.” The clip then showed the moment she and her partner discovered the sealed container.

“You have to get the code to get in, which obviously we’re not going to reveal,” she said, filming the container. As her partner unlocked the box, she excitedly asked: “This is amazing! What do you think is going to be inside? ” After a suspenseful pause, they revealed a Harry Potter shrine inside one door, complete with a Book of Monsters replica.

The other door opened to reveal a stunning Harry Potter Lego display, including a Hogwarts set, meanwhile. “Oh my god, I could cry,” Bex admitted in shock as the haunting strains of the Harry Potter theme tune began to play.

While one expressed disdain for Harry Potter, they acknowledged: “Even though I detest Harry Potter I can confirm that’s got to be THE best geocache!” Meanwhile, another fan of the hobby reminisced: “Oh wow this really is amazing I used to go geo with my kids but I don’t drive and did all ones we could get to so stopped.”

Addressing inquiries about the hobby, Bex offered some tips: “You can do swaps with the swap box but you can’t take the stuff behind the plastic glass. You can also take travel bugs with you too. We specifically look for them so you wouldn’t know about them if it’s not something you do.”
