A Cheeto shaped like a Pokemon character has sold at auction for $87,840.
New Jersey-based auction house Goldin put the snack up for sale Sunday.
“Featuring a 3-inch Flamin' Hot Cheeto candy in the shape of the Pokemon Charizard, attached to an individual Pokemon card and housed in a protective card storage container,” the auction description states.
“It was originally found and preserved sometime between 2018 and 2022 by 1st & Goal Collectibles. Cheeto became extremely popular on social media platforms in late 2024.”
According to the ad, there were 60 applications for the unique snack called “Cheetozard”.

The starting price on February 10 was $250.
The winning bid was $72,000 plus buyer's commission.
