Video Flight Passenger Tells How Grilled Chicken Gave Her 'First Class Experience'
Chloe Gray, a popular social media personality from New York, said she was detained by TSA officers at the airport for bringing a rotisserie chicken on board to snack on during the flight.
A woman has gone viral on social media after carrying a whole rotisserie chicken in her carry-on luggage to snack on in the air.
Chloe Gray caught the attention of Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officials when she carelessly carried cooked poultry through airport security on her flight from Newark, New Jersey, to California earlier this month.
A social media influencer claims that carrying food in the form of a 'designer bag' was simply a clever way to stay fit while travelling.
“I just happened to have a bag of fried chicken,” Gray told What's the Jam.
Gray shared her experience of traveling with edible cargo in a series of TikTok videos that have garnered nearly 500,000 views since May 2.

“I just got stopped by TSA because I had something unusual in my bag,” Gray told her followers in one video.
“But I said [to the security officer], 'This is how you get a first-class experience without paying for first class.'”
Gray, who lives in New York City, said she doesn't like buying food at the airport and usually tries to pack a salad when she flies. This time, she didn't have time — so she decided to buy a whole rotisserie chicken from Whole Foods.
“I didn't notice any difference in bringing a barbecue grill or any other food or snack on board because it's just food,” she told What's the Jam.
“It just so happened that it was really convenient for me to pop into Whole Foods and quickly grab one chicken off the shelf on the way to the airport.”

However, her bird-filled carry-on soon caused some controversy among TSA officers.
“The only thing I was worried about when I went through security with my grill was that they were going to throw it away, and that would be terrible because I would be incredibly hungry and I didn't have much time,” Gray told What's the Jam.
“I don't think I could eat another healthy, filling meal.”
Gray noted that the TSA agent who asked her questions about the matter “was very polite and understanding of her situation.”

“She even carefully handed it back to me and said affectionately: “Here, take it, baby.”
Another video shows Gray casually eating a piece of chicken with a plastic fork while sitting on a plane.
After sharing her experience on TikTok, Gray received a lot of feedback from netizens.
“If someone sitting next to me on a plane pulled out a rotisserie chicken, that would be the last straw for me.”
