How to feed your beloved Murka deliciously and healthy?

Any cat lover will confirm that cats are quite picky when it comes to food. Sometimes it is very difficult to please this tailed creature, demanding something tasty with a piercing meow. By the way, cats differ from dogs in this – their stubbornness. You can train a dog to eat anything by arranging a couple of fasting days. But this trick does not work with a cat: it will starve, but will not touch the food if it categorically does not like it.

You need to decide right away what you will feed your pet: dry food or natural food. Veterinarians advise not to rely on dry food, especially inexpensive ones. But the vast majority of the population cannot spend money on extra-class food, although it guarantees a balanced diet for all nutrients. With natural food, however, there is more trouble, but also more benefit for the animal's health. Let's talk about this.

So, what should you give your cat for a balanced diet, enriched with all the necessary vitamins and microelements? In the first place, of course, are meat products – after all, we keep a predator, not a chicken! Fish is also needed, but in moderation, especially raw. Be sure to feed cereals and vegetables. But here's the catch – if meat and fish are not a problem to feed, then with porridge and vegetables things are more complicated. Rarely a cat will happily eat porridge or stewed carrots. And here simple recipes will come to the rescue, which will allow you to feed your pet according to all the rules: with porridge and vegetables.

By-product pate. This food can be prepared from any by-products: liver, lungs, kidneys – from each separately or in the form of assorted meat. For 0.5 kg of by-products, you will need another 2-3 eggs and 200-300 g of oatmeal (or buckwheat, rice). The cereal must first be ground in a coffee grinder or bought crushed. Another option is baby formula such as “Malysh”, you can add it to the food little by little and one pack will last a long time.

The by-products are passed through a fine mesh of a meat grinder, eggs and cereals are added to the resulting mince, and mixed thoroughly. The baking sheet is covered with foil or parchment paper, the pate is placed on it, leveled in a thin layer and baked in the oven. The finished product is cut into small cubes, poured into a jar with a lid and stored in the refrigerator or in bags in the freezer. Even the most picky eaters will not refuse such a treat!

Chicken liver. This dish from English cat lovers is somewhat exotic. To prepare it, take 100-150 g of finely chopped chicken liver. A small piece of cheese (20 g) and one small carrot are grated. In addition, you will need 1 teaspoon of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of cream, 2 tablespoons of ground oatmeal and a quarter of a banana. Stew the cheese and carrot in oil, add finely chopped banana and cream. As soon as the mixture boils, put the liver in it, cook for no more than 2-3 minutes. Then remove from heat, pour in the oatmeal and stir. The dish is ready.

Ragout “Vkusnyatinka” . Boil and finely chop beef and liver in equal proportions, about 200 g each. For this amount you will need 1 boiled egg, 1 large carrot, 2 tablespoons of cottage cheese, a spoon of vegetable oil. Carrots are pre-grated on a fine grater and stewed in vegetable oil, the egg is finely chopped. All ingredients are mixed and portioned frozen.

Meat products in these mixtures can be periodically replaced with fish, diversify the cereals and vegetables. It is very convenient to prepare such food for future use, not forgetting to warm up the portions a little before feeding. I think these three recipes are enough to turn on the owner's imagination. And I wish bon appetit to all the purring ones!
