The police department in the Chilean town of Porvenir has become much more mustachioed. The local “cops” have officially recruited a furry employee to their staff — a cat named Naruto. A few years ago, officers rescued him from a pack of stray dogs, and now the grateful tailed one has literally written himself into the staffing table. Employees claim that with his arrival, the atmosphere in the team has become much more comfortable.
Naruto is actively working. He conducts planning sessions, mostly lying down, inspects offices for tasty prohibited products and even helps archive documents, falling asleep on the most important papers. Local residents are already aware that a new charismatic “officer” has appeared at the station, and sometimes they come in specifically to check how he is on duty. Where has it been seen that people enter a police station for no reason? Well. Thanks to the cats, everything is possible.
