The media recently exploded with publications about the development of a “robot obstetrician” by the head of a technology company from China. According to the statement, an experimental model could be created as early as next year. The device will help women at all stages – from conception to the moment the child is born, that is, about ten months.

As expected, the story turned out to be entirely fictitious. However, its popularity has sparked debate about the technological feasibility of similar projects today and the moral dilemmas involved.

If a “robot gynecologist” became a reality, would you consider using it? Take the survey below and write in the comments what you think about this futuristic idea. If you chose “maybe”, indicate what your decision would depend on.
