CONSPIRACY theorists have made one of the strangest claims to date after spotting what they believe to be an alien cat on Mars.
It would seem pets are not limited to humans on Earth, as one alien hunter believes he has discovered that extraterrestrials on Mars enjoy furry companions too. After analysing images of Mars from the European Space Agency (ESA), one alien researcher believes he has spotted evidence of a Martian cat. Not only does prominent alien hunter Scott C Waring believe it is evidence of life on Mars, but he also believes the alien cat is equipped with technology-enhancing features, which would prove they are more advanced than humans.
Furthermore, Mr Waring is certain he can see evidence of plant-life in the image from ESA.
The alien enthusiast wrote on his blog ET Data Base: “The face has remarkable detail to it. It has a face that is a combination of a human face with a cat.
“The face is an alien species and does depict the true features of the aliens face. This tells us so much.
“They have technology on their face, maybe to help them do more.
“The right side cheek has a bulky tech section that has some unknown function. There is also tech going over the right eye and into the left ear.
“But that’s not the amazing thing. The truly mind-blowing thing is that there is a third eye. Yes, is golden, unlike the other two red eyes. It may have a use or may be symbolic.
“The third eye is supposed to be a mental ability to transcend space and time and transport you to a plane of higher consciousness.
“Also, did you notice the green in the area on the face? There is a grass-like plant growing around there.
“Green on Mars? This is 100 percent proof that intelligent life and plant life exist on Mars.”
However, sceptics and NASA would say the “cat” and other similar findings are just the effects of pareidolia – a psychological phenomenon when the brain tricks the eyes into seeing familiar objects or shapes in patterns or textures such as a rock surface.
Another recent finding which supposedly supports the argument of life on Mars was that of a supposed statue of a Martian god.
The apparent statue is found enclosed between the bottom of two Martian cliffs, with Mr Waring claiming it is made out of copper or a “golden metal”.
He wrote on his blog: “While looking over some Mars photos, I came across a strange figure hidden in the lower part of a hillside.

“The figure looks like its made of a copper or golden metal. I know this because the colour is very different from the colour of its surroundings.
“This was probably a god, a statue of a god that the people on Mars prayed to for protection.
“The statue itself has a head, a thick chest with a long robe covering it, a large book or shield on one arm.
“Very amazing discovery and absolute proof that ancient intelligent aliens not only lived on Mars, but prayed on Mars.”
