DOOMSDAY forecasters believe the end of the world is a matter of ‘when’ not ‘if’, and the signs are already beginning to take place.
This year is turning out to be an apocalypticist’s dream, with a series of doomsday-like events. 2020 kicked off with the threat of world war three, and with Australia on fire. Things have not got any better as the entire planet has been plagued by the coronavirus, in what has at points seem like the end of the world, or at least the end of normality as we know it.
This has led to a series of apocalyptic predictions, including the supposed end of the world yesterday according to revised reviewing of the Maya calendar.
One such proponent of the rapture was Billy Graham, the controversial US pastor who died in 2018.
Mr Graham’s organisation has continued his apocalyptic forecasts, including a prediction from his son, Franklin Graham.
Franklin posted on Facebook, referencing the book of Revelation: “Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war.”
Franklin added: “Jesus Christ came to earth as a suffering Servant.
“He will return as conquering King. A day of reckoning is coming, and we are invited to be ready.
“Have you bowed your heart in repentance and faith before the King of kings?”
The website BillyGraham.org analysed Franklin’s claims: “That’s the most important question you’ll ever answer.
“The Bible says it’s not ‘if’ but ‘when’ Jesus Christ will come back to judge the earth.
“By choosing to follow Christ now, you can ensure you’ll have eternal life in heaven when all is said and done.
“While the Bible makes it clear that no human being knows when the world will end, it also says there will be signs that Jesus’ return is approaching.”
“The best source for understanding signs of the end times is the Bible itself.
