SpaceX aliens: UFOs spotted in Starlink launch live feed – shock claim

A FLEET of UFOs have supposedly been spotted during a SpaceX launch, leading to theories that aliens are monitoring Earth.

During a live feed of a group of SpaceX Starlink satellites being deployed, some eagle-eyed conspiracy theorists believe they spotted UFOs in the distance. Alien hunters have called these UFOs “fireflies” in honour of the late astronaut John Glenn. John Glenn was the first American to orbit Earth in 1962, and during his spaceflight, he spotted space debris which he dubbed “fireflies”.

UFO enthusiasts have long thought of these ‘fireflies’ as extraterrestrial visitors, and now eagle-eyed space fan believes they have been spotted again.

The strange objects were seen hovering in the background when Starlink satellites were deployed from a rocket.

Prominent conspiracy theorist Scott C Waring spotted the ‘UFOs’ and wrote on his blog ET Database: “I noticed that when SpaceX was releasing some Starlink satellites, multiple white firefly objects flew past in the upper left hand corner of the screen.

“I heard about such objects from an old report from Astronaut John Glenn when he was orbiting Earth for the first time in history, these small white fluttering glowing objects flew around his module and even landed on it.

“He hit the inside of the hull and they flew off in mass and flew away. He called them fireflies. I believe this is what SpaceX recorded on May 24, 2020.”

Scientists who have worked for NASA in the past have a much simpler explanation for all of the bizarre UFO sightings reported, however.

According to former NASA engineer James Oberg, most UFO sightings are nothing more than “space dandruff” floating in front of cameras.

These specks of dandruff can be anything from bits of chipped paint drifting aimlessly in zero gravity, flakes of ice or ISS insulation that has broken off.

He said: “I’ve had enough experience with real spaceflight to realise that what’s being seen in many videos is nothing beyond the ‘norm’ from fully mundane phenomena occurring in unearthly settings.”

Mr Oberg argued the human brain is not wired to make sense of these tiny objects floating above Earth.

While the existence of aliens has never been confirmed, the US Department of Defense has recently acknowledged a video from a US Navy pilot’s radar footage of a mystery UFO with “glowing aura” and flying erratically.

The video first circulated back in 2017, but it took the DoD three years to acknowledge the video’s existence.

According to Pentagon spokeswoman Sue Gough, the sighting was released “in order to clear up any misconceptions by the public on whether or not the footage that has been circulating was real, or whether or not there is more to the videos”.

She said: “After a thorough review, the department has determined that the authorized release of these unclassified videos does not reveal any sensitive capabilities or systems and does not impinge on any subsequent investigations of military air space incursions by unidentified aerial phenomena.”

When the 2017 footage emerged, a former Pentagon employee Luis Elizondo, who headed up a secret official UFO program, said it was “compelling evidence” we might not be alone in the universe.

Mr Elizondo said: “These aircraft – we’ll call them aircraft – are displaying characteristics that are not currently within the US inventory nor in any foreign inventory that we are aware of.

“Things that don’t have any obvious flight services, any obvious forms of propulsion, and manoeuvring in ways that include extreme manoeuvrability beyond, I would submit, the healthy G-forces of a human or anything biological.”
