UFO sighting: Unique alien spaceship spotted over Texas – bizarre claim

UFO hunters believe they have spotted an extraterrestrial spaceship in the skies above Texas.

The “metallic” object was seen moving from east to west above Richardson, Texas, and some are claiming it is of alien origin. UFO enthusiasts state the metallic object is “moving too fast to be a balloon”, which lead to alien theories.

Conspiracy theorists also believe it is the first UFO of its kind.

The sighting was sent to UFO investigation firm MUFON, with the witness stating: “When I first saw this I thought it was a foil balloon, then realized it was moving too fast and stayed right on course. It was moving from East to West.”

Prominent alien hunter Scott C Waring picked up on the claim and offered his two cents.

Mr Waring wrote on his blog ET Data Base: “This is an unusual report from MUFON today.

“Someone spotted a tall long craft moving over the neighbourhood in Texas.

“The object was metallic and said to be moving too fast to be a balloon. The object also has a rocket-like exhaust coming out of the bottom of the craft.

“Awesome catch and a first for this shape and angle of UFO.”

While the existence of aliens has never been confirmed, the US Department of Defense has recently acknowledged a video from a US Navy pilot’s radar footage of a mystery UFO with “glowing aura” and flying erratically.

The video first circulated back in 2017, but it took the DoD three years to acknowledge the video’s existence.

According to Pentagon spokeswoman Sue Gough, the sighting was released “in order to clear up any misconceptions by the public on whether or not the footage that has been circulating was real, or whether or not there is more to the videos”.

She said: “After a thorough review, the department has determined that the authorised release of these unclassified videos does not reveal any sensitive capabilities or systems and does not impinge on any subsequent investigations of military air space incursions by unidentified aerial phenomena.”

When the 2017 footage emerged, a former Pentagon employee Luis Elizondo, who headed up a secret official UFO program, said it was “compelling evidence” we might not be alone in the universe.

Mr Elizondo said: “These aircraft – we’ll call them aircraft – are displaying characteristics that are not currently within the US inventory nor in any foreign inventory that we are aware of.

“Things that don’t have any obvious flight services, any obvious forms of propulsion, and manoeuvring in ways that include extreme manoeuvrability beyond, I would submit, the healthy G-forces of a human or anything biological.”
