On Wednesday, Google will celebrate the start of the 2025-26 school year with a DNA-themed doodle.
This Back to School Doodle celebrates deoxyribonucleic acid, also known as DNA, “the molecular polymer that carries the genetic instructions for the growth, reproduction, and function of all living organisms. It consists of two strands twisted together to form a double helix. Simply put, it's the genetic code that makes each person unique,” Google wrote about the Doodle.
The picture shows the word “Google” with two “O” letters in the shape of a DNA strand, and a second “g” in the shape of a DNA strand.
The handwritten lines indicate the first and second strands of DNA combinations.
