For many years, there have been reports from different parts of the world that people relaxing in nature encounter certain creatures, which are commonly called “snowmen.” Most often, they appear near people, but do not make contact with them, taking an observer position. Despite the impressive number of statements from tourists and travelers that they have seen a snowman, in reality, the question of the existence of such people remains a mystery, shrouded in darkness.
In fact, the animal of unknown origin received the name “snowman” from participants in a Himalayan expedition who discovered impressive-sized prints resembling human feet in the snow near their camp.
Cryptozoology experts believe that Yeti, the second nickname of the Bigfoot, are an intermediate link in development and vaguely resemble primates. It is likely that their ancestors were none other than Neanderthals. Their habitat is diverse, so they can be found on absolutely any continent. Throughout the entire time of studying Bigfoot, scientists have not been able to collect a large amount of evidence in favor of their real existence, but still, a number of outstanding facts cannot be overlooked.
Thus, one of the impressive pieces of evidence is considered to be a film by an American scientist named San Diego Ray Wallace.
In 1958, one of Wallace's workers came to work and wanted to start a bulldozer, but saw giant footprints around the machine. They looked very much like a human foot, and only their size said otherwise. A chain stretched from the bulldozer into the nearby forest, through which the builders were supposed to build a road according to the plan. A few days later, the local newspaper printed a sensational article, which said that a close relative of the Yeti, nicknamed “Bigfoot”, had settled in the local forests.
Wallace decided not to stop there, and from time to time provided the public with evidence that Bigfoot was not a product of someone's imagination. And ten years later, he presented his film to the general public, in which an image of a female Bigfoot was seen, quickly passing through the forest thickets. Of course, after the showing, the film was checked for photomontage and other possible gadgets that could indicate that the film was fake. But the fact that the film was not fake shocked even the most serious skeptics. Having studied the presented film in detail, scientists concluded that an ordinary person or even “Mowgli” would not be able to physically move the way the female Bigfoot did.
However, after the death of the famous “discoverer” Wallace, his relatives decided to reveal the whole secret of Bigfoot's existence, thereby saying that even the most experienced experts can be wrong. According to the family's stories, Wallace specifically turned to his old friend, who cut out huge paws from thick boards. At dawn, Ray walked with his brother around the bulldozer, thereby “marking” the territory. If we talk about the filmed movie, it turned out that the role of the female Bigfoot was played by Wallace's wife herself, for whom a special fur suit was sewn and a mask on her face was made. His son claimed that, having tried to make such a high-quality staging once, and realizing that it really worked and made a big impression on people, Wallace could not and did not want to stop there.
However, despite the fact that implausible materials were used as evidence of the existence of the yeti, this does not at all deny the fact that such a creature can live on earth. So, even taking into account the paucity of research knowledge, there is still some evidence that yeti exist in other parts of the world. Also, one should not ignore the fact that in total there are about thousands of people who claim to have seen the Yeti with their own eyes. These include not only locals or travelers, but also quite famous people, such as Nikolai Przhevalsky or Herodotus.
It is worth adding that people living deep in the mountains of Nepal do not simply believe in the existence of the Yeti. According to them, they meet this creature almost every day and are not afraid of it at all. And although such confidence is unproven, one should not be so pessimistic and distrustful of the words of eyewitnesses. In addition, there are not many people among them who are chasing their own glory or strive to become pioneers in this area.
There is still no generally accepted opinion on whether the Yeti exists or not. Continuous discussions among scientists on this topic have not yet led to the development of a unified theory on this matter. Surprisingly, some marketing companies even offer impressive rewards for those who provide real evidence that the Yeti is not a fiction. All that remains is to wait and hope that such a person will be found and reveal to the world the secret of the existence of the Yeti.
