LIFE after death is real, at least according to a man who claims to have died and left his body into a weightless void of light.
The man, who only introduced himself as Steve, claims to have briefly died after suffering a heart attack 19 years ago. When the heart attack struck, Steve felt excruciating pain shoot through his body. The last thing remembers before slipping away into a so-called near-death experience (NDE) is a doctor stabbing him in the chest with a syringe.

Steve said: “Then I heard that ringing noise that I’ve heard every time I’ve been put asleep.
“The pain and fear went away. A bright light was before me.”
Many people who have stood on the verge of death recall flying through a tunnel at great speeds.
But in this case, Steve said it was not a tunnel or a beam, but rather light that completely surrounded him.

Life after death: THIS is the process you will go through when you die
He said: “I was floating, moving with the light, with time to realize everything that was going on.
“I was completely coherent. Not drunk, not drugged, totally aware of my surroundings and how nice it was to be weightless.
“Next I realised I wasn’t gasping for breath it was wonderful. No pain, no fear, no worries.”
As he carried on through the light-filled void, Steve began to feel better.
He recalls being consumed by an overwhelming sensation of love.
Then, he noticed a group of people who appeared without faces or bodies, but rather as silhouettes.
Steve said: “There was one standing alone just below me to my right with outreached hands; I was about ten feet above them.
“Some say I had a choice to go or not, if that’s so, God cheats.

Life after death proof? Man is convinced he met Jesus in the afterlife
“It was irresistible so as I am descending to take the hand of who I think was Jesus, I heard a voice from beyond.”
The voice came from his wife and all of a sudden, he was “slammed back” into his body.
The account is incredible but it is not unique and most likely a result of natural processes.
According to NDE researchers Neil Dagnall and Ken Drinkwater from Manchester Metropolitan University, people often have detailed memories of their near-death encounters.
But there are many plausible theories, such hallucinations triggered by oxygen starvation, that scientists explore.
The NDE experts said: “Currently, there is no definitive explanation for why near-death experiences happen.
“But ongoing research still strives to understand this enigmatic phenomenon.
“Whether paranormal or not, near-death experiences are extremely important.
“They provide meaning, hope, and purpose for many people, while offering an appreciation of the human desire to survive beyond death.”
