Tech company Nothing has unveiled a new smartphone that competes with budget models from Apple and Samsung.
The last few weeks have been good for tech lovers looking for an affordable smartphone. Apple recently announced its new iPhone 16e, which offers advanced features at a lower price than its flagship models, while Samsung has also launched three models in its A-series, starting from £299.
If that wasn't enough, British company Nothing has officially announced its latest devices, the 3a and 3a Pro, which look pretty good for the price.
Both devices feature Nothing's signature style, with a transparent body and innovative Glyph interface that lights up when you receive notifications or activate an alarm. On the front is a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate for responsive scrolling and improved gaming. That's an improvement over Apple's iPhone 16e, which only has a 60Hz panel.
Users will also get impressive cameras, with the 3a Pro even coming with a periscope camera for quality zoomed-in shots and brighter photos in the dark. Nothing claims this is the most advanced camera to date, so it will be interesting to see how good it actually is when reviews come in.
Inside the device is a powerful Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, which not only improves overall performance but also improves battery life thanks to its higher efficiency.
Fast charging, a waterproof case and a unique Nothing operating system with new personalization options are also key features of these devices.
What is their price and where can they be purchased?
The 3a starts at £329, while the 3a Pro starts at £449.
Nothing says most customers worldwide will be able to pre-order the Phone (3a) today (March 4) via nothing.tech.
