Our solar system has an unexpected visitor that is currently moving towards us at high speed, passing through our cosmic region.
The newly identified interstellar visitor, named 3I/ATLAS, is only the third object of its type ever observed.
It was discovered on July 1 and immediately attracted attention due to its high speed and unusual trajectory, suggesting that it would pass right through the solar system. Within 24 hours, NASA confirmed that this object does not belong to our solar system and will be leaving it.
