SpaceX has announced a new version of the Falcon 9 rocket, successfully launching another batch of Starlink satellites from California.
The launch took place at 11:51 p.m. ET from Vandenberg Air Force Base, sending 24 satellites into orbit for the Starlink network.
The Falcon 9 first stage, numbered B1097, landed on the autonomous vessel Of Course I Still Love You in the Pacific Ocean.
The launched devices joined the orbital group, which already numbers about 8,300 satellites, expanding the company's global infrastructure.
This launch marks the 109th mission for Falcon 9, with over 70% of those missions being for the Starlink project. It also marks the 498th successful landing of stages in the company's history.
