The Chronicles of Narnia is a cult fantasy book and film series filled with magic, mystical creatures and intelligent beasts, created by British author Clive S. Lewis.

Many fans will probably remember the debut film adaptation of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, which hit theaters in 2005. Some fans have only recently discovered that they can now find themselves in the fairytale land of Narnia beyond the pages and screens. The Story Museum in Oxford celebrates the legendary saga with themed exhibits and interactive activities.

Fantasy enthusiast Nina Sinni posted a video on TikTok where she tests out the famous wardrobe that can transport guests to a magical kingdom. In the caption, she wrote: “I visited Narnia and didn’t want to leave,” adding: “Fulfilled a childhood dream.”

Connoisseurs of literary and cinematic epics will remember that the plot revolves around the Pevensie family, whose main enemy is the White Witch Jadis. Four London children temporarily settle in the country mansion of Professor Digory Kirke, escaping from the air raids of World War II.

The main storyline of the first part of the fantasy series is centered around a luxurious wardrobe in the professor's residence, which becomes a portal to the mysterious Narnia. Lucy, the youngest of the children, accidentally discovers its secret. During a game of hide-and-seek, the girl hides in an empty wardrobe, but instead of the back wall, she discovers a snowy forest.

Nina's video shows her opening closet doors, revealing winter coats like in the film version, and then a snow-covered lamppost. Despite nearly 200 reactions to the clip, some viewers criticized the museum installation.

One commenter asked, “Only two jackets?” Another responded sarcastically, “Where's the effort? And why the mirrors? This doesn't look like Narnia.”

A third user wrote: “Why is the cabinet so compact? There are only three items.” A fourth compared the installation to “Narnia from Temu.”

However, most viewers were delighted with how the museum visualized the hidden world. “This is exactly how I imagined it when I read the book,” one fan shared.
