Amazon has cut prices on its Kindle, but a new model is coming soon.
If you're in the market for a new Kindle, now is the perfect time to shop online. Amazon just launched a major Black Friday sale, and its popular e-readers have received significant discounts. Even the new entry-level Kindle and the more advanced Kindle Paperwhite have been slashed in price, despite their recent launch.
The discounts mean you can pick up the latest Kindle – now available in a new green colour and with faster page turns – for just £79.99 (was £94.99). The Paperwhite – now faster and with a glare-free 7in screen – is just £134.99 in the Black Friday sale (was £169.99).

Those are great deals, but another offer you might be interested in is this big saving on the best Kindle Scribe, which has been reduced to £214.99 – that's over £100 in savings.
This flagship e-reader features a huge 10.2-inch screen, faster page turns, and the ability to take notes on the display with the included digital stylus.
It's one of the most feature-rich Kindles available to buy, and the new Black Friday price makes it even more attractive.

But before you rush to hit “buy,” there's one important detail to know: During Amazon's recent Kindle launch event in New York City, the online retailer also announced a brand-new Scribe.
This latest and greatest device will be available next month and features a new design with a flat display and an improved Premium Pen that feels like writing on real paper.
The device also allows users to take notes directly on the pages of a book, and includes a new update called Active Canvas, which automatically creates space for your notes as you write them.
When it goes on sale in December, it will have a starting price of £379.99, a significant increase on the current price of the old Scribe model.
However, if you're looking for the best Kindle and don't mind the price, you might want to wait a few days for this update to become available. Amazon has confirmed that shipping will begin on December 4.
