The history of human development shows that at all stages of its existence it has been constantly surrounded by a huge number of incomprehensible events, phenomena, and discoveries.
These circumstances have given rise not only to various theories, assumptions, and scientific justifications, but also to myths.
The exponential expansion of the information field and the multitude of archaeological finds contribute to the refutation of many theories, assertions and evidence.
For example, one of the mysteries of the Egyptian pyramids is the question of their builders: were they built by the hard work of slaves or were they created by aliens from outer space, or perhaps they were built by the highest civilizations of the ancient world.
Darwin's theory of evolution is bursting at the seams: if humans' ancestors are apes, then why hasn't any of them replicated their predecessor's “feat”? Or perhaps apes are a degenerate branch of humanity?
Why do the legends of many peoples contain evidence of the appearance of unfamiliar humanoid beings who interacted with them? The simplest explanation was that these higher beings came from outer space. But no one has yet been able to confirm or deny the possibility of their appearance from outer space, the future, or even, paradoxically, from another dimension.
Many interesting phenomena and facts cannot be definitively explained using our current knowledge. Let's look at a few of them.
In 1976, military pilot V. Orlov, while on a training flight, witnessed, to his utter horror, a battle that could not be described as taking place in the 1970s. Based on the pilot's description, historians subsequently suggested that he had witnessed events that took place in 19th-century America during the conflict between the North and the South.
Twenty years later, another pilot, while on a flight, observed the construction of the pyramids in Ancient Egypt.
An American pilot also experienced a similar time-travel experience when, under the wing of an airplane, he saw events that took place in Europe during the Middle Ages: the bodies of people who died during the plague were burned on huge bonfires.
Analyzing these situations, the Danish physicist noted that the common thread among these cases was that the visions lasted no more than 20 seconds and that all the events occurred in the past. Consequently, the pilots never saw the future.
One possible explanation: these visions are related to hypnosis or a short-term mental disorder due to oxygen deprivation at high altitude. But there is a theory about the curvature of space (a property that has not yet been sufficiently studied), and according to this theory, the pilots could indeed see images from the past.
Another phenomenon that has no explanation yet: the instantaneous movement of people through time without their will.
Here's one such event: in 1952, a man dressed in 18th-century fashion appeared in a train carriage traveling from London to a Scottish town. He introduced himself as a coachman from Chetnam named Pimp Drake. While they searched for the conductor to calm the stranger, he vanished as suddenly as he had appeared. But a cocked hat and whip belonging to the strange passenger remained on a shelf in the carriage. Experts determined that the area the train passed through was indeed once a village named Chetnam. And documents from that time contained not only information about a man named Pimp Drake but also his account of an unseen carriage in which he suddenly found himself for a short time.
In 1952, a car struck a man who suddenly appeared on a busy New York City street. The stranger was dressed in clothes typical of the last century and had a passport issued nearly a century earlier. Detectives investigating the case found not only information about the man but also a photograph of him, dated April 1884, in a seventy-year-old archive.
There are many cases of aliens from the future appearing.
Several years ago, Andrew Carlsin was arrested in New York City, accused of stock market fraud. Police were intrigued by the fact that he had made a huge profit in a short time after investing a small amount. But during interrogation, the “lucky man” claimed to have come from the year 2256. His success in the stock market stemmed from his knowledge of all banking transactions in the present. Refusing to reveal his time machine, he reported on key events from the future. Released, he disappeared forever.
Another time traveler, John Titor, claimed to have arrived from the year 2034. To support his claim, he recounted the discovery of laws allowing for space-time travel in 2034. He recounted his visit to 1975, where he became intrigued by the first personal computer. He also traveled to the year 2000 to see and talk to his parents. According to Titor, by 2036, the internet will replace television, and space travel will become commonplace.
But time travelers often left traces in the past.
During archaeological excavations, specialists find objects that cannot in any way be related to the period of time whose layer is being studied.
For example, in the 1980s, a metal coin dating back 400,000 years was discovered during drilling. Considering that humans appeared on the planet significantly later, the only explanation for this is that the object was “dropped” by a traveler from the future.
But it is rather difficult to explain who could have “lost” a beautiful ceramic figurine of a woman, the creation of which dates back two million years.
Archaeologists have many more amazing finds in their arsenal: a metal vase with a plant pattern (600 million years old), an object resembling a spark plug (500 million years old), boot prints (400 million years old), etc.
But all this is trivial compared to the possibility of time travelers bringing military technologies, weapons, and diseases into the past that will not only lead to the death of people, but are also capable of changing the very future of the planet.
The possibility of the existence of higher cosmic civilizations that are reluctant to establish open contact with earthlings also requires serious consideration. There are many possible explanations for this. Here are a few:
– they are indifferent to the existence of humanity on planet Earth;
– the development of life on planet Earth is an experiment that they observe from the outside;
– observing the life of humanity, they try to save it from the mistakes that led to the destruction of cultures that previously existed on Earth;
– They are not interested in the exit of earthlings into outer space, considering them a degrading mass that poses a threat to other space races.
But no matter how fantastic our assumptions about space civilizations or time travelers may be, they already have a solid scientific basis.
Scientists at the California Institute of Technology have come to the compelling conclusion that time and space travel does not violate the principle of causality (a general physical principle that establishes limits on the possible influence of events on one another). This means it is possible to travel back in time without violating the causal relationship between time and space.
The talented theoretical physicist Edward Witten of Princeton has proposed a theory of hyperspace travel through hyperworlds. This could allow time travel without a time machine.
Astrophysicist Kip Thorne and physicist Frank Tipler have theoretically substantiated the possibility of creating a time machine.
It is possible that the developments of modern scientists will lead in the future not only to the creation of time machines and new technologies, but will also become a source of spiritual growth for humanity, which will save the planet from destruction.
