Amazon is running a limited-time promotion where you can get an Echo for free when you buy a smart speaker bundle.
It's not often that you can get something for next to nothing, but that's exactly what Amazon is offering with its surprise sale. The online retailer has launched a few very early Black Friday deals ahead of the main sale, and the most tempting of them all is a 5th-gen Echo Dot bundle.
This incredible deal includes two smart speakers for just £48.98. Considering a single Echo Dot usually costs £54.99, this effectively means you're getting two devices for less than the cost of one.
And that's not all: the set also includes a Philips smart light bulb or a Sengles smart plug.
Both of these connected devices can be controlled using Alexa, allowing you to give your new Echo Dot commands to turn on your lights or plug it into an outlet.

For reference, the Echo Dot has a stylish spherical design covered in a soft fabric mesh. It’s completely voice-controlled, so you can ask it to set timers, read the latest news, tell you the weather, or play your music playlists.
