Horrible Ibiza crash: British woman and two other tourists hit by car

The incident happened today at around 11:15 a.m. near the most crowded beach of the resort, Playa des Puys, which was overcrowded with vacationers at that time.

A British man has been hospitalised after three young people on holiday were hit by a car near a popular spot in Ibiza.

Three victims, believed to be young women, were hit by an SUV on Calle Moli near the On the Bay restaurant in Playa des Puy, Spain.

As shocked witnesses reported, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon veered off the roadway, into the pedestrian area, where it hit a street lamp and hit three girls. The vehicle stopped on the sidewalk a few meters from the zebra crossing.

According to The Sun, one of the victims is a British citizen, but her details have not yet been confirmed; information about the others also remains classified.

The published footage shows people gathering at the scene before the paramedics arrived. The first to provide assistance were the Playa des Puy beach rescue service. Later, a number of police cars and three 061 ambulances arrived, stabilizing the girls' condition and transporting them to a clinic.

According to eyewitnesses, two of the victims are in critical condition, and the third suffered injuries to her lower extremities. Representatives of emergency services and the San Antonio police have not yet commented on the nationality and age of the girls. According to available information, the driver was a man in his thirties.

Police have restricted traffic on the street and are questioning eyewitnesses to clarify the circumstances of the accident.

The incident caused alarm in the area, where at the time of the accident there were many people relaxing on the coast or visiting bars nearby.
