UFOs are real and NASA is trying to cover it up, at least according to bizarre claims made by a prominent conspiracy theorist.
UFO hunter Scott C Waring has accused the US space agency NASA of doctoring archival photos to hide the existence of alien UFOs from the public. The conspiracy theorist, who has in the past said aliens are watching Earth, claims to have evidence to back his off the wall claims. In a post on his blog ET Data Base, Mr Waring shared a NASA photo of what he believes is a UFO.

The NASA picture was snapped during the Apollo 7 mission in 1968 and can be found in the US National Archives.
However, Mr Waring has said the UFO he first discovered in 2013, has been edited out of the photo in 2015.
The UFO expert said: “Guys I discovered this UFO back in 2013 and NASA used my website to edit it out by 2015.
“Now I have found that in the US National Archives… they have accidentally saved the original Apollo 7 photo with the UFO in it.”

The NASA photo shared by Mr Waring shows a black object seemingly floating above the planet and below the Apollo 7 command module spacecraft.
Mr Waring then showed another photo, which he said was edited by NASA to remove the black object.
All crewed Apollo missions carried Hasselblad cameras with modified film magazines, allowing NASA’s astronauts to snap 70 exposures per roll.
The Apollo 7 mission carried astronauts Wally Schirra, Donn Eisele and Walter Cunningham on the first crewed flight of the Apollo programme.
Mr Waring said: “This is 100 percent proof that NASA used my discoveries and used photo editing software to edit out the UFO and then add a lot of contrast to the original photo to cover up most the detail.
“Then to top it off, they no longer have the largest 5mb size to download, but instead have only tiny thumbnail of about 200kb in size.
“Its reduced size and quality has destroyed its usefulness.
“NASA has to be stopped. This kind of coverup is very corrupt and deceitful to not only the American public but the world.”
However, despite Mr Waring’s claims, all of the unedited photos snapped by the crews of Apollo 7 through to Apollo 17 are free to peruse online.
NASA’s Apollo Archive on Flickr shows all of the photos as they were taken, including any blemishes on the original negatives.

The black spot in Mr Waring’s photo is seen in other NASA photos.
The object can most likely be explained by chemical residue from the development process or dust on the negative.
According to Ilford Photo, a UK based manufacturer of analogue film and photography equipment, negative blemishes are a common occurrence when handling film.
Ilford’s website reads: “Irregular shaped dull marks or roundish spots on the surface of your film are likely to be drying marks.
“Caused by droplets of water forming in the film surface during the drying stage these marks are typically seen on the film backing (shiny side).
“Films washed in hard water areas are more likely to see this problem.”
As fas as NASA knows, there is no evidence to support the claim intelligent life exists outside of Earth.
NASA said: “The ultimate goal of NASA’s exoplanet program is to find unmistakable signs of current life.
“How soon that can happen depends on two unknowns: the prevalence of life in the galaxy and how lucky we get as we take those first, tentative, exploratory steps.”
