Apple plans to release a major update in December, but you'll need these iPhone models to test it out.
The long-awaited launch of Apple Intelligence is finally coming to the UK this month. The smart update was actually announced back in June at Apple's WWDC developer conference, and it looks like the US tech company is ready to bring it to this side of the pond.
“Apple Intelligence will be available for localized English in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and the UK in December,” Apple recently confirmed in an update.
Upon release, some iPhone owners will immediately gain access to a host of useful features, such as writing tools to help with emails and document editing, and an improved Siri that can more accurately interpret your requests and provide more detailed answers.
Other additional features include automatic photo retouching, the ability to create unique emoji, and even the ability to generate images based on a simple description.

Emails can be automatically prioritized to help you find the information you need faster, and Apple Intelligence can also extract data, such as your family's flight information, from emails and text messages sent in preparation for a trip.
Apple assures that all data will be protected and will not be at risk.
“Apple Intelligence is ushering in a new era for iPhone, iPad and Mac, delivering entirely new capabilities and tools that will transform the way our customers experience the world,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO.
“Apple Intelligence builds on years of advances in AI and machine learning to bring Apple’s generative models to our devices, giving users a personalized intelligence system that’s easy to use while protecting their privacy. Apple Intelligence is the generative AI that only Apple can deliver, and we’re incredibly excited about its potential to enrich the lives of our users.”

It is known that the feature will be available on iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
If you don't have one of these devices, you'll need to update it to access Apple Intelligence.
