How magnetic storms affect people
The negative impact of magnetic storms on people has not yet been scientifically proven, but based on the results of many years of observations there is quite a definite pattern. First of all meteorologically dependent people suffer from increased geomagnetic background. Children, pregnant women, people with chronic diseases, as well as people with mental problems are also at risk. On the days of strong solar activity they should be especially careful. As a rule, the negative effects on the body are felt a few days before and especially acute during the period of magnetic storms.
The most common symptoms are
Depressed state, depression, lethargy, apathy.
Drowsiness or sleep disturbances, feelings of fatigue.
Dizziness, headaches, migraines.
Spikes in blood pressure, heart pain.
Exacerbation of mental disorders, mania, phobias, unreasonable anxiety.
Stiffness in joints.
Nervousness and irritability, attacks of aggression.
Exacerbation of chronic diseases.
Calendar of magnetic storms March – 2021
Magnetic storm of average strength. Most people may feel mild malaise, irritability and fatigue. But weather-dependent citizens often have more serious problems – insomnia, weakness, and apathy. Or, on the contrary, excessive irritability and a tendency to conflict.
Another magnetic storm of medium strength. The most typical situations on this day are.
- sleep disturbances;
- reduced ability to work;
- exacerbation of chronic diseases.
Now this is serious! In these days we are waiting for a very strong magnetic storm. The worst days are March 18 and 19 – the peak of geomagnetic activity, when even healthy people will feel the negative impact. Conflicts, arguments, attacks of unmotivated aggression, panic attacks, exacerbation of cardiovascular diseases and sharp pressure jumps are possible. On March 20-21 the situation will improve a little, but meteorological dependent people should continue to be vigilant. The storm will not abate until March 22.
Last test of March. Chronic illnesses may worsen. Mental problems too. Most people will get away with fatigue and decreased capacity for work.
What to do to survive the magnetic storms in March
The main advice is not to get irritated, not to quarrel, not to fight. Stay calm and stay calm! Fights can arise out of nothing, a scandal can break out because of a trifle, and inadequate personalities will look for a reason to fight or at least cause an insult. Do not give in to provocations.
Keep the necessary medications close at hand – you will need them in these days.
Sleep more, rest, relax, meditate.
Less alcohol and more water! Herbal teas will help to get through the hard time, but it’s better to refrain from coffee or at least limit its consumption.
A contrast shower in the morning and a relaxing warm bath at night are a great solution.
Do not overeat, but do not starve. No fast food, fatty foods, smoked foods, salted foods. Give priority to vegetables, fruit, cereals, seafood, and turkey. Light meals are the key to good health. Leave heavy food for other days. In addition, Lent has come.
Be careful when driving and working with machinery.
Take more walks, ventilate rooms well.
Do not overexert yourself physically. Heavy work should be limited, as well as serious athletic activities. But a light exercise would be good.
And think positively!
